1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

• The PVPSMP Minecraft server/network;
• PVPSMP.com and related web pages;
• PVPSMP support tickets, appeals, bug reports, and player reports;
• PVPSMP Discord community spaces;
• PVPSMP Reddit community spaces;
• PVPSMP store-related records to the extent we receive them from Tebex.

Third-party services may also collect and process your information under their own policies. This includes Microsoft/Mojang, Tebex, Discord, Reddit, payment providers, hosting providers, email providers, anti-abuse tools, DDoS protection providers, and similar services.

PVPSMP is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Microsoft, Mojang, Discord, Reddit, or Tebex.

2. Information We Collect

Minecraft Account and Connection Information

When you connect to PVPSMP, we may collect and store:

• Minecraft username/profile name;
• Minecraft UUID;
• Bedrock/Floodgate identifiers, if applicable;
• Nicknames, display names, and username history;
• IP address;
• Connection and disconnection timestamps;
• Login history and proxy/server routing information;
• Java/Bedrock connection type or similar platform indicators;
• Punishment, warning, mute, kick, ban, appeal, and moderation history.

Gameplay and Server Activity

We log server activity to operate PVPSMP, prevent abuse, investigate griefing, enforce rules, and protect the economy. This may include:

• Blocks placed, broken, modified, or interacted with;
• Signs placed or edited;
• Books, item names, renamed items, and other in-game text;
• Containers opened or modified;
• Items moved, traded, dropped, picked up, crafted, bought, sold, repaired, enchanted, or destroyed;
• Economy transactions, balances, shops, trades, wagers, and auction activity;
• Claim activity and land interactions;
• Teleports, commands, combat, deaths, damage, and movement/security events;
• Anti-cheat alerts, staff audit actions, and administrative investigation records;
• Inventory, ender chest, backpack, or similar data when reviewed for moderation or security reasons.

Chat, Messages, and User Content

We collect and store communications made through PVPSMP systems, including:

• Public chat messages;
• Private/direct messages sent through the Minecraft server;
• Signs, books, item names, mail, and other in-game text;
• Support tickets, bug reports, player reports, and appeals;
• Messages sent to staff through official PVPSMP channels;
• Content posted in PVPSMP Discord or Reddit spaces, to the extent visible to staff/moderators.

Store and Purchase Information

Purchases are processed through Tebex Checkout and its payment partners. PVPSMP does not directly process or store full credit card numbers or full payment credentials.

We may receive and store purchase-related information from Tebex, such as:

• Minecraft username and/or UUID;
• Tebex transaction/order ID;
• Purchased package, rank, Coins, crate key, cosmetic, subscription, or other item;
• Purchase amount, currency, date, and status;
• Refund, fraud, chargeback, or dispute status;
• Billing email or other order-support information Tebex makes available to us.

Website, Discord, and Reddit Information

When you use our website, Discord, Reddit, or support channels, we may process IP addresses, usernames, user IDs, messages visible to moderators, contact form submissions, security logs, ticket contents, attachments, and related moderation records.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Operate the Minecraft server and website;
• Authenticate users and maintain accounts, ranks, perks, claims, balances, and progression;
• Deliver purchases, Coins, ranks, cosmetics, crate keys, and other virtual content;
• Investigate cheating, duping, griefing, scams, harassment, grooming, exploitation, and abuse;
• Enforce rules and Terms of Service;
• Review reports, tickets, appeals, bug reports, wagers, transactions, and staff actions;
• Prevent ban evasion, fraud, chargebacks, attacks, and economy manipulation;
• Protect minors, players, staff, and the community;
• Preserve evidence for serious safety, legal, or moderation matters;
• Debug server issues, maintain backups, improve gameplay, and balance the economy;
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

4. Legal Bases for EEA/UK Users

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction requiring a legal basis for processing, we rely on:

• Contract: to provide PVPSMP services, gameplay access, support, purchases, and enforcement.
• Legitimate interests: server security, moderation, anti-cheat, anti-dupe, fraud prevention, economy integrity, ban evasion prevention, abuse detection, service improvement, and legal claim defense.
• Legal obligation: compliance with law, tax/accounting duties, consumer protection, payment disputes, or lawful requests.
• Vital interests/safety: serious harm, threats, grooming, exploitation, child safety, or emergency matters.
• Consent: where we specifically request and rely on consent.

5. Long-Term Retention

PVPSMP is a persistent multiplayer environment. Abuse, dupes, scams, grooming, harassment, chargebacks, economy damage, and ban evasion may be discovered months or years after the original event.

We retain server logs and moderation/security records long-term, including indefinitely where necessary to:

• Investigate rule violations;
• Prevent ban evasion;
• Protect minors and player safety;
• Investigate scams, dupes, exploits, wagers, or economy manipulation;
• Resolve disputes and appeals;
• Defend against legal claims;
• Handle chargebacks, refunds, and fraud;
• Comply with law;
• Maintain server integrity.

Access to records is restricted to authorized PVPSMP staff and used only for legitimate operational, security, moderation, safety, or legal purposes.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell player information. We do not share player information for third-party advertising.

We may disclose information:

• To service providers for hosting, backups, website operation, email, security, analytics, DDoS protection, and infrastructure;
• To Tebex and payment partners for order delivery, fraud checks, refunds, chargebacks, and purchase support;
• To Microsoft/Mojang, Discord, Reddit, or platform safety teams where appropriate for abuse or safety matters;
• To law enforcement, NCMEC, safety authorities, guardians, or legal recipients where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect a minor, prevent serious harm, report exploitation, comply with law, or protect PVPSMP and its users;
• As part of a business transfer, merger, sale, reorganization, or ownership change involving PVPSMP.

7. Children and Minors

PVPSMP is intended for users who are at least 13 years old.

If you are under 13, do not use PVPSMP unless your parent or legal guardian has contacted us and provided legally valid consent where required.

If you are under 18, you may use PVPSMP only with permission from your parent or legal guardian. Your parent or guardian is responsible for your use of PVPSMP, including purchases.

Discord and Reddit generally require users to be at least 13. Users under 13 may not participate in PVPSMP Discord or Reddit spaces.

If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without required consent, we may suspend the account and delete, anonymize, or restrict information unless retention is necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.

8. Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access your personal information;
• Correct inaccurate information;
• Delete information;
• Restrict or object to processing;
• Receive a portable copy of information;
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• Appeal a privacy decision;
• File a complaint with a privacy regulator.

We may deny or limit requests where retaining information is necessary for moderation records, server security, ban evasion prevention, fraud prevention, chargebacks, child safety, legal claims, compliance with law, or protection of other users.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including private server storage, staff access controls, backups, moderation/audit controls, and security monitoring. No online service is perfectly secure. Keep your Minecraft, Microsoft, Discord, Reddit, and email accounts locked down.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

PVPSMP may use cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, scripts, embedded content, or similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, protect against abuse, understand site traffic, support checkout, and provide embedded third-party features.

Cookies and similar technologies may include:

• Essential cookies: security, fraud prevention, consent management, access control, checkout, anti-spam, abuse prevention, and basic site operation.
• Preference cookies: theme, display, accessibility, language, or similar site preferences.
• Analytics cookies: optional analytics tools used to understand website traffic and improve pages, navigation, performance, and user experience.
• Embedded media cookies: cookies or storage used by services such as YouTube, Discord, social platforms, or other embedded content providers.
• Marketing cookies: PVPSMP does not currently intend to use behavioral advertising or remarketing cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and request consent where required.

Essential cookies may be active because the website, store, security systems, checkout, or related services may not work properly without them. Optional cookies, such as analytics or marketing cookies, will be used according to your consent preferences where required by applicable law.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, privacy tools, private browsing, cookie deletion tools, or any cookie preference tool PVPSMP makes available. Blocking cookies may cause some parts of the website, store, checkout, embedded media, or related services to work incorrectly.

11. Analytics, Security, Embedded Media, and Third-Party Tools

PVPSMP may use third-party tools and service providers for website hosting, content delivery, DDoS protection, bot protection, analytics, embedded media, authentication, forms, support, email, payments, store services, server infrastructure, backups, diagnostics, and abuse prevention.

Cloudflare and Security Services

PVPSMP may use Cloudflare or similar services for security, performance, caching, bot protection, DDoS mitigation, firewall rules, and content delivery. These providers may process IP addresses, device information, request headers, browser information, security events, challenge results, and related logs. They may set essential security cookies, such as challenge or clearance cookies, to help verify legitimate traffic.

Analytics

PVPSMP may use privacy-conscious analytics tools or services such as Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website. Analytics may collect information such as pages visited, approximate location, device type, browser type, referral source, time spent on pages, and general usage patterns. We do not use analytics to personally identify ordinary visitors.

Embedded Media and External Content

PVPSMP may embed or link to third-party content such as YouTube videos, Discord widgets, social media posts, maps, store widgets, or other external content. Embedded content may allow the provider to receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, device information, referring page, and interactions with the embedded content.

Where practical, PVPSMP may use privacy-enhanced embed options, such as YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. This reduces some tracking behavior but does not make third-party embedded content fully private or controlled by PVPSMP.

Forms, Support Tools, and Private Areas

PVPSMP may use forms, support tools, ticket systems, spreadsheets, documents, email services, authentication providers, or similar systems to manage support requests, bug reports, player reports, appeals, staff workflows, event planning, moderation records, payment issues, or community operations.

Private, staff-only, admin-only, or restricted areas may use authentication providers such as Discord login, email login, or other access-control systems. These systems may process account identifiers, login events, group or role membership, usernames, email addresses, session information, and access logs.

Third-party services process information according to their own terms and privacy policies. PVPSMP does not control how Microsoft/Mojang, Discord, Reddit, Tebex, payment processors, Cloudflare, Google, YouTube, hosting providers, authentication providers, or other third-party services process information outside PVPSMP-controlled systems.

12. International Visitors

PVPSMP is operated from the United States. If you access PVPSMP from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other countries where PVPSMP or its service providers operate.

The privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live. Where required, PVPSMP will handle international privacy requests according to applicable law and the rights described in this Privacy Policy.

13. Service Communications

PVPSMP may use your email address, Discord account, Minecraft account, website account, support ticket information, or other contact information to respond to inquiries, provide support, send service-related messages, handle purchases, process refunds or chargebacks, manage appeals, investigate abuse, communicate about moderation or security issues, or provide important account or server notices.

PVPSMP does not currently intend to send routine marketing emails. If we send marketing emails in the future, we will provide an unsubscribe method where required. Important service-related, transactional, account, moderation, payment, legal, or security messages may still be sent even if you opt out of marketing messages.

14. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes are material, we may notify users through the website, Discord, server announcements, login dialogs, or other reasonable methods. Continued use of PVPSMP after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
